WLEY-FM, a subsidiary of Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc., is looking for an experienced Account Executive, preferably with Media sales experience. This position offers unlimited earning potential for the right self-motivated / highly driven individual. A successful Account Executive will cold call, make and attend appointments and close sales. Excellent communication skills, networking skills, and outstanding customer service skills are required; along with a proven record of success achieving / exceeding sales targets and goals. Must possess a valid driver’s license, own automobile, and auto insurance. Bilingual in Spanish and English not required, but helpful. Compensation commensurate with experience and is based on draw against commissions.
Responsible for representing Spanish Language radio station 107.9FM, “La Ley” with local advertisers and advertising agencies in a professional manner. Qualified candidate must be intuitive, creative, versatile and a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for selling commercial airtime, event sponsorships, and marketing campaigns entailing research, promotions, copywriting, servicing, new business development, and collecting for station clients. Candidates should possess excellent people skills and working knowledge of general Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Knowledge and proficiency in media software (Tapscan, WideOrbit, MapMaker, Qualitap, etc) highly desirable.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
